After many wonderful years at Schlump One in Hamburg-Eimsbuettel, KOPRIAN iQ is moving to urban Ottensen. From July 19, 2021, a new era will begin on an area of 1,000 sqm in the Westend Ottensen ensemble.
The residential and commercial complex impresses with its neat facades built in the Gründerzeit-style and an imposing central courtyard with a fountain. KOPRIAN iQ is taking over long-term centre and rental management of retail location PARK CENTER Treptow, which was previously managed by MEC.
PARK CENTER Treptow is the fourth portfolio property in the Berlin area for KOPRIAN iQ. This is the sixth assumption of management for KOPRIAN iQ in 2018/2019.
On December 1st, 2018, Hamburg-based KOPRIAN iQ MANAGEMENT GmbH will take over the long-term management of shopping centres MARKT-CENTER in Potsdam and DER CLOU in Berlin-Reinickendorf.
With the MARKTPLATZ CENTER in Berlin-Hellersdorf, which was also taken under management in 2018, and the assumptions of management for MARKT-CENTER Potsdam and DER CLOU in Berlin-Reinickendorf, KOPRIAN iQ Group is expanding its commitment in the city of Berlin and Potsdam. Thus, KOPRIAN iQ announced its fifth management takeover in 2018.
After MERCADEN® Dorsten was taken under management in January 2018, UNI-CENTER Bochum-Querenburg followed in June and the MARKTPLATZ CENTER Berlin-Hellersdorf in October of the same year. With the management takeovers of MARKT-CENTER Potsdam, which opened in December 1997, and shopping centre DER CLOU, which opened in August 1988, KOPRIAN iQ added around 90,000 sqm of rental space in 2018 alone in addition to the existing management contracts for the shopping centres TRIER GALERIE, FLENSBURG GALERIE, RATHAUS GALERIE Essen, RATHAUS GALERIE Hagen and SCHWABENCENTER Augsburg.
KOPRIAN iQ can look back on a very successful year 2018 in terms of the acquisition of new management properties, the conclusion of consulting contracts for property repositionings and revitalizations as well as for leasing. With over 40,000 sqm of new and re-let retail space, the leasing department achieved an outstanding full-year performance!
In addition to rental management, KOPRIAN iQ is currently responsible for the overall management and development of 10 shopping centres.
On October 1st, 2018, KOPRIAN iQ took over the long-term management of the MARKTPLATZ CENTER in Berlin-Hellersdorf. Previously, the property has been managed by MEC (Metro/ECE). This is the third management takeover for KOPRIAN iQ this year.
"2018 has been a very successful year for us so far!" said CEO Helmut Koprian who, among other things, is also responsible for the functional conception and leasing department at the KOPRIAN iQ Group.
KOPRIAN iQ was once again to put its expertise in the area of optimisation and revitalisation of shopping centres to the test. After the positive decision has just been made to reposition the MERCADEN® Dorsten according to the concept designed by KOPRIAN iQ, two further optimisation projects are on the agenda too, namely, UNI CENTER Bochum-Querenburg and MARKTPLATZ CENTER Berlin-Hellersdorf.
With this interim result, KOPRIAN iQ, which was founded in 2006, can draw a very positive conclusion for the year-to-date. In addition to rental management, KOPRIAN iQ is responsible for the overall management and development of currently 8 shopping centres. The medium-sized family company based in Hamburg is managed by Helmut Koprian (CEO) and his partner/son Markus (COO).
